WHAT DOES CENLAR FSB DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Definitions


Affiliates

Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.

  • Our affiliates include companies with a common corporate identity of Cenlar FSB; financial companies such as Cenlar Capital Corporation; and non-financial companies such as Cenlar Insurance Group, Cenlar Management Corporation, and Cenlar Agency, Inc.


Non-affiliates

Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.

  • Our non-affiliates can include mortgage companies, banks, credit unions, mortgage brokers, and mortgage loan originators.


Joint marketing

A formal agreement between non-affiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

  • Our joint marketing partners include companies such as financial services companies.

Special Notice for California Residents

In order to comply with California law, the following applies if your account has a California mailing address:


Even if you do not check the third box listed on the opt out form, we will not share information that we have about you with non-affiliates, unless permitted by law.


We will not share information about you within, or with financial companies outside, our family of companies, unless we first provide you with further privacy choices or unless otherwise permitted by law.

Special Notice for Vermont Residents

In order to comply with Vermont law, we will automatically treat accounts with Vermont mailing addresses as if you have made all of the privacy choices listed on the opt out form. In addition, if we disclose information about you to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements, we will only disclose your name, contact information, and information about your transactions.
